WHAT`S HIDDEN IN YOUR HOUSE?

I heard a Guitar play
Through the smothery tiny door notch of an abandoned cottage
And I saw her figure stray
Through the flurry wavy stretch of lengthy grass passage
She hummed a pitiful tune
As she randomly spread her washed clothes down to dry
From her looks I could gather
That she was a weary lonely middle aged mother
Of beautiful countenance and radiant eyes
That had been blurred by the rough shadowy mysteries of life

I began to wonder
Why this place was so unnaturally still and quiet
And how on earth a woman with so much life and might
Could choose to inhabit such horrid dwelling site
And the music !
That soft music from inside her little queer Cottage
Was it from some magic music box or some music making parrot?
And why was it kept so hidden and locked?

Armed with courage and a loving smile
I strolled to her side with graceful strides
“What`s hidden in your house”  I asked with ease

She was startled!
Startled by my daring curiosity and careless zeal

In her eyes shone the palpable sense of lingering fear

As she held her breath for a minute and said
 “My son”.
So I rushed to the tiny window on the other side
Only to see the sweet fearless face of a young
Albino
He clutched his guitar and played a radiant tune
which got me nodding and singing and smiling too
His mother came over and whispered to me
This is what the heavens gave me
When i prayed for a son and family
And i`ve been weeping and wailing and worrying
 Repeating to myself
If only I  hid him in some faraway land
The women would stop pointing and whispering and murmuring
And the little kids will stop stalking and mocking and prying
because they have never seen anything like this before.
He`ll stay with me then, I said
He`ll no longer dwell in this decrepit place
Or hide in the confines of this secluded cottage
What you have been hiding woman
Is the answer to your own questions and fears
The source of your own deliverance and liberation
The delicate piece of humanity`s puzzle
This is the time to release it and adore it, pride in it and
not cry over it
Because every gift heaven gives
is an answer to a need on earth.
I declared
To the amazement of both mother and son.

Footnote
Albinism (from Latin albus, "white"; is a  disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to defect in the production of melanin.
Albinos often face social and cultural challenges (even threats), as the condition is often a source of ridicule, discrimination, or even fear and violence. Many cultures around the world have developed beliefs regarding people with albinism.
                                                   Remember
Those afflicted with albinism are generally as healthy as the rest of the population, with growth and development occurring as normal, and albinism by itself does not cause mortality

Famous people with albinism include historical figures such as Oxford don William ArchibaldSpooner; actor-comedian Victor Varnado; musicians such as Johnny and Edgar Winter, Salif Keita, and Winston "Yellowman" Foster
